Subject: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between KAPC-TI and CIU

On 23rd March 2026, a significant milestone was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Kenya Associates for Professional Counsellors – Training Institute (KAPC-TI) and Consolata International University (CIU).
This Partnership Agreement formalizes a strategic collaboration between the two institutions aimed at advancing academic excellence and promoting professional development in counselling and related disciplines.
The primary objective of the Agreement is to establish a structured and mutually beneficial partnership between KAPC-TI and CIU. This collaboration seeks to enhance counselling education, strengthen professional training, promote joint research initiatives, and improve the delivery of counselling and clinical services.
Under this Agreement, CIU will provide the necessary academic infrastructure, faculty expertise, and institutional support required to achieve the partnership’s objectives. This includes facilitating academic progression pathways, supporting training programs, and contributing to the overall quality of education and research.
The signing of this agreement was done by the executive director of Kenya Associates for Professional Counsellors – Training Institute (KAPC-TI) Mr. Elias Gikundi and the vice chancellor of the Consolata International University (CIU).
